Insurance Company: AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company
Coverage Type: Life Insurance
- Underwriting - Premium Too High
- Marketing & Sales - Misleading Advertising
- Marketing & Sales - Misrepresentation
- Marketing & Sales - High Pressure Tactics
- General - I feel abused by this company
Prior to retiring in 2012, I had my life insurance policy reviewed. Two agents came out, I should have known that there was a high pressure tactic planned. I was told that I could increase my policy, my loan would be paid off and that I would receive my first notice of premium payment the first of 2013. Yes, I received my first premium payment of $6,000 due December 8, 2012.
Prior to this, I have received letters stating that I was to receive a check which never arrived; when I called my agent he said it was a mistake.
I need help resolving this situation. I want to leave money for my grand children but all I am getting is grief.
I have called their 1-800-777-6650 number only to be placed on "hold." I have called agent Christopher Wyllie (1-630-575-5037)only to be told that he could come out and go over my policy. I don't want him to come out again and go over my policy. I do not trust him.
