We have been customers of Allstate for 25+ yrs, and had a windshield claim on our Motorhome in 1998, and another in 2012. The sewer line under our home pulled apart, and left quite a mess. We called Allstate, and they informed us that it might not be covered because of the length of time since it happened. I asked her, who goes under their home once a week to inspect. They finally did cover the expense to clean it up, but 6 months later, we got an increase in our police of $300.00. When we asked why, she told us that it is the result of the claim. We had a class A motorhome, 2 motorcycles, 2 cars, a pick-up, and home owners with them for all these years, and never missed a payment. The TV advertises that they have accident foregiveness, and you receive a check once a year for no claims. This ad is total malarky, and people should think twice about insuring with Allstate. We have changed to another co. now, and at a lower rate for the same coverage.
