My car was involved in a hit and run accident Dec of 2011 and is still not resolved. A picture of the vehicle license plate was taken and a police report was filed. At least and maybe longer, 2 months after accident I'm told I must retrieve police report myself. I do this and then told Ins. of hit and run vehicle cannot locate driver. Now told by Knightbrook Ins. Co.(Ins. of hit and run vehicle) they never received police report when they have been sent at least 2 copies after stating they didn't receive it. Car was looked at for damages and came to $1800 something. What else can I possibly do? The vehicle that struck my car was a Med Ex truck. Please help!
