ON AUGUST 31,2012, I FILED A CLAIM WIH MY INSURANCE CO (ASSURANT SPECIALTY CASUALTY) A WINDSTORM DAMAGE, MY DAMAGE WAS THE FOLLOWING; THE ROOF/CEILING IN MY KITCHEN GAVE IN,SHINGLES FLEW AWAY ALOT OF MY SHINGLES ARE MISSING,PART OF THE METAL FRAMING THAT GOES AROUND THE HOUSE, FELL OFF, WE RENAILED THAT IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE. I HAVE ALOT OF WATER DAMAGE IN MY KITCHEN, MOLD EVERYWHERE, I HAVE A ONE YEAR OLD BABY,BREATHING OLD THIS DAMPNESS, HUMIDITY AND GREEN MOLD DUST, WE ALL IN MY HOUSE ARE GETTING SICK. I EXPLAIN ALL OF THIS TO THE ADJUSTER AND ALL I HEAR WE WILL SEND OUT AN ADJUSTER TO LOOK AT THE DAMAGES, WELL THE ADJUSTER DID COME, SOMETIME IIN SEPTEMBER, THEN I WAITED I CALL THE INSURANCE CO AGAIN, THEY TOLD THEY WILL SEND OUT AN ARCHITECT TO DO AN INSPECTION AGAIN; THE INSPECTOR CAME ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO, WAITING FOR THE ADJUSTER TO CALL ME NO ANSWER, CALL HIM ON 9/27 AND TODAY 10/30, LEFT A MESSAGE, NO ANSWER. CALL BACK SPOKED WITH MR.LOUIS PALEVEDA AND TOLD HE STILL WAITING FOR THE REPORT FROM THE ARCHITECT, I ASKING WHY MY CLAIM HAS NOT BEEN PAY AND TOLD BECAUSE I HD A SIMILAR CLAIM IN 2004 and 2008, I TOLD HIM SO WHAT I HAD ROOF DAMAGE IN BOTH OF THOSE TIMES AND THE ROOF WAS FIXED. HE SAID I HAVE TO WAIT. I WONDER IF THIS ADJUSTER IS CONSIDERING MY CLAIM OR MY CLAIM IS GOING TO BE DENIED BASED ON WHAT HE SAID O ME TODAY.....WHY DO WE PAY INSURANCE IF WE ARE GOING TO HAVE ALL THIS PROBLEMS? MEANWHILE I DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO PUT A NEW ROOF OR TO FIX MY KITCHEN DAMAGES, ALL I DID IS MINOR REPAIRS TO HOLD UNTIL MY INSURANCE PAY HIS CLAIM. CAN YOU HELP ME?

I think it is very impressive that someone from the Insurance Company was kind enough to let you know that they were aware of your concerns and would be back in contact with you. Even if the claim did not conclude the way you want or even of it did. They were at least considerate enough to acknowledge. That says A Great Deal About The Company
