  • Claim Handling - Delays upon Delays

My son was hit by a client of Access Insurance on October 23rd. As of this date, nothing has been done. My son have no rental vehicle and no one has contacted him concerning his vehicle which he believes is totalled. The insurance company kept telling him (when he called) that they had to wait until they got a statement from their client. His company (Allstate) could take care of it and then go after Access, but he would have to pay a $500 deductible. This is not right. Who is supposed to enforce the companies to take care of the victims?
