Insurance Company: Amica Mutual Insurance
Coverage Type: Homeowners Insurance

  • Claim Handling - Delays upon Delays
  • Claim Handling - Unsatisfactory Settlement/Offer

I had a flood in my home while I was out of town for the July 4th weekend.
It is now Aug. 27th. with no resolution.
I don't have enough money to replace my ruined furniture.
I don't have enough money to replace my kitchen cupboards.
I can't live in my house because it is declared unlivable.
I am being very patient and polite. But, after they sent out the checks they thought would cover my damages, they began stonewalling me.
Now my Claims Specialist is calling me "Hon" (Honey)
How condescending is that?
I am not happy with Amica.
Period. Exclamation Point.
