• PolicyHolder Service - Inadequate Reimbursement

Highmark sends out all kinds of booklets stressing how they want to promote wellness. The plan I have at Mack trucks is supposed to cover routine physicals. My doctor ordered routine ekg and blood work for a 53 year old man. Now after the physical is over I get a bill for 260.00 from the diagnostic company who did the blood work. Seems Highmark decided one of the tests was not necessary and the rest needed part to be paid by a deductible.
I guess I'll have to go back to never going to doctor until you end up in ER.
