I should have paid attention to the many elderly church members at my church, who have been hoodwinked by Liberty Mutual Insurance. As a Veteran who fought for this country, and a Gold Star Family Member, I am getting treated like the lowest scum on this earth by Liberty Mutual. I don’t expect them to act honorably with my claim. I don’t expect them to make it right with the oldest African-American members in my church. This insurance company is complicity with their adjusters to swindled, deceived, and duped consumers under the guise of racist discrimination, and not paying litigable claims. The adjusters (Mr. Keith Ramirez) got of his car looked around and said, “I smell a rat, you people are always up to something for free!” On the claim, I have paid my contractor half down, and now, the contractor trying to put a lien on my property for the balance. Liberty Mutual doesn’t care. They keep giving me the run around hoping I will simply forget about the claim. This incident with Mr. Ramirez isn’t isolated, get them to consider showing his personnel file unless his supervisor has given him cover already by hiding it. Liberty Mutual is operating like a Mafia. You people? This phrase has long been used as an interpersonal generalization, it has become known as a racial epithet embattled to African-American communities only. ." At this cultural moment in the U.S., we still live in a racialized social, and cultural hierarchy, and our dialectal approach continues to replicate our ongoing endeavors to struggle with the realism that was perpetrated by your adjuster (Mr. Ramirez). I hope he tries to deny it, and don’t own up to this racist statement. Secondly, he is trying to base his decision on previous damages, and looking for reasons to deny the claim stating the ceiling had been damaged prior to this claim. Liberty Mutual is notorious for doing this, especially since this last hurricane. It is only appropriate to tie Mr. Ramirez to Liberty Mutual, his supervisor is standing behind his wretched behavior and stubbornly refuse to move forward with my complaint. Complaints they cut down, to save their brand.Had he just asked instead of assuming, I would have shown him the date I had my sheetrock delivered, and shown him that the check cleared my account with the amount I paid the company that did the work. He said he didn’t need it. Really? They had no intention of paying the claim. I have researched numerous complaints by consumers who were distressed and persecuted by Liberty Mutual. I personally will go to the end of the earth to see this company answer for the damages they caused to me. I pray and hope for justice for anyone who is a victim of bad business practices with this company, and this illegal actions by Liberty Mutual. They treated me like a criminal for filing a legit storm claim. In the most stressful moments, such as after a hurricane, these vultures are not here to help consumers, they are looking for every reason to deny my claim. I am prepared to put my all on the line for this cause. I am prepared to go the last mile of the way. I will not kick the can down the down. Let us expose Liberty Mutual as an organization that targeted older African-American in the Bible Belt of this country. This claim should have been settled months ago. I thought Jim Crow was dead, and in 2017 we are dealing with his nephew, James Crow, Esquire.
