  • General - I feel abused by this company

When my grandson started his auto policy with Geico, I made the initial down payment. It subsequently came to my attention that Geico had setup my credit card for automatic payments without my knowledge or authorization. First Geico said my grandson was a signer on my credit card and he had made the payment. When they found out that was not correct, Geico said the payment was made on their web site. The down payment was made by me, on my credit card, by phone. I worked in the insurance industry over 20 years and all carriers obtained written authorization to set up any policy for automatic payments. Geico cannot provide any documentation because I never authorized automatic payments. If tou have a policy with Geico, cancel it and find a reputable insurance company.
