- Claim Handling - Denial of Claim
I filed a claim for hail damage to the roof of my house, after a couple of roofers said my roof was damaged by hail and need to file a claim.
After I filed a claim an adjuster came out and looked at the roof, and admitted the vents were dented by hail, but refused to agree that the roof was damaged by hail. They refuse to pay. I sent several pictures to the adjuster's supervisor and he agrees there is hail damage to the vents but the asphalt shingles were cause by foot traffic. And there decision stands. I requested an engineer and they refused to send one out. I am still in limbo what to do next.
It is clearly hail damage, but they refuse to pay.
